§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe maximum penalties for unlawful possession or supply under the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1965 and for unlawful possession under the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1964 enable the courts to award severe punishment where this is merited, and I have no proposals at present for increasing them.
