HC Deb 04 April 1967 vol 744 c24W
Mr. Bessell

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will afford a signal mark of their Lordships' appreciation to the officers and men of the Royal Navy who are involved in the attempt to destroy the oil slick off the Isles of Scilly to prevent the pollution of the beaches in South-West England.

Mr. Healey

I have sent a message of appreciation to those concerned in all three Services.
