Mr. Galbraith

asked the Minister of Transport whether she will list those passenger rail closures shown in grey on her map, British Railways Network for Development, which were not included in the British Railways Reshaping Plan for withdrawal or modification.

The following lines are shown in grey or thin black on the Basic Railway Network Map and carry passenger services which were not included in the report "The Reshaping of British Railways" for withdrawal or modification (in the case of those marked*, advance notice of plans for the discontinuance of passenger services had already been published before 15th March under Section 54 of the Transport Act, 1962):
