asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what plans have been made for landscaping recently built atomic centres.

My right hon. Friend attaches great importance to improving the appearance of this kind of development by landscaping: and is sure that the Atomic Energy Authority and local planning authorities, who are primarily responsible for this, are aware of his views.

If the hon. Member is concerned about a particular case, I hope he will write to my right hon. Friend so that he can look into it.
