§ 52. Mr. Sandysasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make a statement about the internal security situation in Aden and the discussions between the British Government and the Federal Government about independence for South Arabia.
§ Mr. George ThomsonI regret that terrorist activity in Aden is continuing at a high level. We are resolved to maintain law and order in Aden during the visit of the United Nations Mission despite the threats which have been issued by terrorist organisations.
