§ 8. Mr. John Wellsasked the Minister of Health what steps he is taking to improve the X-ray facilities at the Kent County Ophthalmic Hospital and the West Kent Hospital, both at Maidstone; and what improvement in the working conditions of the X-ray staff will be made in the current year.
§ Mr. LoughlinOver £12,000 has been spent in the last 5 years on improvements in the X-ray department at the West Kent Hospital. The Regional Hospital Board has plans to improve the department at the Kent County Ophthalmic and Aural Hospital, but it is unlikely to be able to carry them out this year.
