§ Mr. Freesonasked the Minister of Health if he will undertake a review of undeveloped hospital land for which there are no defined proposals and plans for use as part of the National Health Service, with a view to its use for other community purposes by public authorities.
§ Mr. LoughlinHospital authorities keep their land holdings under constant review and there is no need for a special review at the present time. Since 1955 some 14,350 acres of land no longer needed for hospital purposes have been disposed of and a further 4,900 acres have been declared surplus and will be sold.
