§ Mr. Blenkinsopasked the Minister of Labour whether he will make a statement on the effect of the Government's prices and incomes policy on the continued payment to employees of annual bonuses that have been customary in the past.
§ Mr. GunterAnnual bonuses which are a recognised regular practice should not during the period of the standstill be increased over the previous payment. Discretionary bonuses are a form of pay increase which should not be made during the standstill.
