(2) The figures for the central government follow the definitions used in the national income accounts and are comparable with those for the personal sector and companies. The Exchequer surplus differs in definition and coverage from these figures. A reconciliation was given in Table 10 of the Financial Statement for 1966–67.
(3) The personal sector includes unincorporated enterprises, non-profit-making bodies benefiting persons and private trusts as well as individuals.
