§ Mr. Onslowasked the Minister of Technology what increase or decrease there has been in the staff of the Department under his control since 16th October, 1964; and what increase or decrease he anticipates in the period up to 15th October, 1967.
§ Mr. BennApart from staff transferred from other Departments with their work, there was an increase of staff in my Department of 608 between 16th October, 1964, and 1st October, 1966, the latest date for which figures are readily available. The estimated numbers to be employed in 1967–68 will appear in Civil Estimates to be presented to the House in due course.
