Mr. Dalyell

asked the Minister of Public Building and Works whether he will set up an inquiry into the practice of men classifying themselves as self-employed in the building industry to avoid tax and other contributions.

Mr. Prentice

My right hon. Friend the Minister of Labour and I are jointly considering how best to conduct an inquiry into this matter but it is not yet possible to make a statement.
