§ 60. Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what estimate he has made of the quantity of British bacon for the year ending 31st December 1966; how this quantity compares with Great Britain's allocation under the Bacon Sharing Agreement; how the shortfall has been made up; and what is the estimated cost of the shortfall in terms of additional imports.
§ Mr. HoyAllocations under the Bacon Market-Sharing Understanding relate to the year ending in March. So far, home production has been below the level envisaged but this has not resulted in increased imports.
