asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer by how much the Civil Service and the number of other public employees has increased since 20th July; and what steps he is taking to reverse this trend.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what number and percentage of those employed in the Civil Service, nationalised industries, Local Government and the public services, respectively, have received increments in pay due to seniority or length of service, and extra allowances due to qualifications or other reasons, respectively, during the period 20th July to the present time; and what number of percentage of these will not have received any such increment or standard increase whatsoever between the period 20th July, 1966 and July, 1967.
