§ Mr. Milneasked the Minister of Power if he will give a report on the difficulties encountered by the oil rig "Neptune I" in the North Sea in severe weather conditions.
§ Dr. BrayThe oil rig "Neptune I" is designed to withstand the worst storm conditions likely to be experienced in the North Sea and I am advised that it was in no immediate danger. As a precautionary measure a request was made for the emergency services to be put on standby, as evacuation, should it have proved necessary, would have been impracticable by normal means.
