HC Deb 29 November 1966 vol 737 cc90-1W
Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Minister of Land and Natural Resources how many of the 2,000 civil servants required to operate the Land Commission Bill are expected to need training for their task; who will provide the necessary tuition; where it will be undertaken; and how long such training will take.

Mr. Willey

About 500 will need instruction by staff which have been seconded to my Department and whose training is now being completed. This will be undertaken in the regional offices to be used by the Commission in a period of about two months before the Land Commission is set up.
