asked the Secretary of State for Wales what action he is taking to ensure safety of vehicles using the bridge at Bangor-on-Dee.

In addition to the staff allocated to work full-time or half-time, staff of my Department are directly concerned on a part-time basis with the other bodies listed above, but in no instance does this work represent anything approaching half-time employment.

Staff of my Department are also working in close co-operation with local authorities and other interests concerned on a number of urban transport studies and Committees, etc. in the Regions.
