§ Mr. Staintonasked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the present expansion of Sudbury and Great Cornard, he will take steps to improve the casualty facilities at St. Leonard's Hospital, Sudbury.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonThe main accident and emergency services for the area are, and will continue to be provided at Bury St. Edmunds where staff and essential facilities to deal with any emergency are available night and day. The East Anglian Regional Hospital Board plan to improve facilities at Sudbury for minor casualties but because of greater priorities elsewhere in the region this work is not likely to be started yet.
