§ Mr. GunterThe Report of the Court of Inquiry was published on 18th November. On the same day I saw representatives of the National Amalgamated Stevedores and Dockers, the Transport and General Workers Union and the National Association of Port Employers382W and urged them to take action on the basis of recommendations of the court. I understand that the court's finding as to the work in dispute at the Millwall Docks has now been accepted. The Enclosed Docks Joint Sub-Committee of the National Modernisation Committee has begun discussions on the court's recommendation that a common register should be set up in the London docks.
