Mr. Crowder

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if he will name the local education authorities which have submitted proposals for secondary reorganisation which involve the transfer of pupils from primary to secondary education at an age other than 11-plus;

(2) if he will name the local education authorities which have submitted proposals involving the establishment of middle schools.

The authorities listed below have submitted proposals for the establishment of one or more middle schools and the transfer of pupils from primary to secondary education at an age other than 11-plus.

Proposals which have already received statutory approval.

Proposals which are still under consideration.
