HC Deb 22 November 1966 vol 736 cc283-4W
Mr. Buchanan-Smith

asked the Minister of Transport what representations she has received regarding the compulsory registration of driving instructors; and what action she is taking.

Mr. John Morris

Some representations have been received from members of the public and the profession that driving instructors should be compulsorily registered.

As announced in Answers to Questions on 4th May, my right hon. Friend has consulted the interests concerned and is now considering what further action should be taken.—[Vol. 728, c. 108–9.]
