HC Deb 21 November 1966 vol 736 c225W
77. Sir E. Errington

asked the Attorney-General how many administration orders have been made in the county courts during each of the years from 1960 to 25th April 1965; and how many have been made since the latter date.

The Attorney-General

In 1960 there were 7 administration orders made; in each of the years 1961 and 1962 there were 4, in 1963 2 and in 1964 3. In 1965 no orders were made before 25th April. On 27th April, 1965 the Administration of Justice Act 1965 raised the upper limit of indebtedness which could be made the subject of an administration order from £50 to £300, and, between that date and 14th November, 1966, 1,491 orders were made.
