Mr. Fisherasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has yet read and will now publish Mr. Bowen's report on the Aden torture allegations; and whether he will also publish the reports of the International Red Cross delegate made to the High Commissioner, bearing in mind that the Red Cross have no objection to this provided publication is of their whole report and not merely of extracts from it.
§ Mr. PadleyRegarding the possible publication of Mr. Bowen's report, I have nothing at present to add to my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary's reply of 16th November to my hon. Friend the Member for Fife, West (Mr. William Hamilton)—[Vol. 736, c.132.] The position regarding Red Cross reports was stated in my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary's reply to a supplementary question by the hon. Member for Surbiton (Mr. Fisher) on 7th November.—[Vol. 735, c. 958.]
