§ Mr. Merlyn ReesAt present the Bristol Corporation airport at Lulsgate has no meteorological office of its own, although air traffic control staff employed at the airport have been trained by the Meteorological Office as meteorological observers. Weather forecasts and warnings of hazardous conditions for aircraft using Bristol (Lulsgate) Airport are provided by the Meteorological Office, acting as agent to the Board of Trade, through the meteorological office at Glamorgan (Rhoose) Airport. The latter operates under the administrative and technical control of the main meteorological office at Gloucester, which provides these services during the hours of the night when forecasters are not on duty at Rhoose.
