HC Deb 16 November 1966 vol 736 c132W
Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has yet received Mr. Bowen's report on Aden; and when he will make a statement to the House.

Mr. George Brown

Mr. Bowen has now submitted his report. It is a most valuable report and includes a number of recommendations for improvements in our procedures, which I am studying in consultation with the High Commissioner.

As I promised the House on the 14th of November, in reply to the hon. Gentleman the Member for Surbiton, I am also considering the question of the publication of the report and will make a further statement next week.
