§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Power in view of the fact that in granting licences to persons or companies to drill for oil and gas in the North Sea he relies on the investigations by the California Department of Fish and Game in its adjacent fishing grounds, upon what evidence he relies in his assumption that the conditions and fish behaviour in Californian fishing grounds are similar to those in the fishing grounds of the North Sea.
