HC Deb 15 November 1966 vol 736 c59W
65. Mr. Driberg

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is aware of the inequitable character of the constituency boundaries in Bermuda; and if he will give an assurance that this subject will be thoroughly explored during the present conference in London, so that the under-representation of the coloured population and the over-representation of the white population, which arise from this gerrymandering may be corrected.

Mr. Frederick Lee

The present conference is discussing a new constitution for Bermuda and will consider thoroughly all relevant issues including electoral arrangements.
