Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he will publish in table form the average price paid to producers in the last available year for all the main commodities produced at home and in each of the Common Market and European Free Trade Association countries; and whether he will publish under suitable headings details of the production and other agricultural grants paid either directly to producers or primarily for the benefit of 68W producers in this country and in each country of the Common Market and European Free Trade Association.

As regards the other countries, the respective responsible authorities publish a great deal of information but it would not be practicable or appropriate for me to publish this in the form requested. I am therefore sending to the hon. Member a list of the main sources of information.
