§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in order to further the establishment of a permanent United Nations peacekeeping force, he will propose the enrolment of individuals for such a force.
§ Mrs. WhiteI will certainly consider this when it becomes possible to envisage successful negotiation over the establishment of a United Nations Force. At present, no practical purpose would be served by Her Majesty's Government promoting such a proposal.
