§ Mr. William RodgersAs my hon. Friend knows, the Government intend to publish shortly a White Paper setting out340W the criteria for prices and incomes during the period of severe restraint. During this period the Government will continue to examine rigorously any price increases which do not appear to meet the criteria. The statutory powers under Part IV of the Prices and Incomes Act will remain in force.
