§ Mr. Dobsonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what consideration he has given to proposals from Bristol City Council to build a new comprehensive school in East Bristol, in view of the fact that a new school in this area is desirable and overdue.
§ Mr. RedheadMy right hon. Friend has considered the authority's proposal for a new comprehensive school to replace the existing St. George's Schools and has agreed to include the first instalment of this project in the 1967–68 building programme. He is writing to inform the Authority today.
