HC Deb 09 November 1966 vol 735 c307W
Mr. Longden

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs why no Members of the House of Commons other than the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs are among the official United Kingdom delegates to the United Nations for the 21st Session.

Mrs. White

The hon. Gentleman will be aware that an all-Party Parliamentary Delegation, headed by my hon. Friend the Member for Coventry, North (Mr. Edelman) has just concluded a visit to the United Nations. This is a similar procedure to that adopted last year, which was regarded as a success by all concerned.
