§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Minister of Transport, in view of the concern of the people of the area following the meeting between her officials and Brentwood Urban District Council officials, with regard to the flow of traffic, whether she will now arrange a meeting with members of the council and introduce the proposed traffic survey before the summer of 1967.
§ Mr. SwinglerA further meeting would serve no useful purpose. I could not tell members of the Council more than will have been reported to them in the discussion between our officials.
I am afraid that an earlier survey would not take account of peak summer traffic.
