§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware of the growth of gangs of crooks operating the three card trick in and around the area of Club Row, London, on Sunday mornings; and whether he will arrange for extra plain clothes detectives to be drafted into the area between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sundays.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI am informed by the Commissioners of Police of the Metropolis and for the City of London that as a result of police action, gaming of this type has been reduced in this area in recent months. Additional plain clothes detectives are regularly on duty on Sunday mornings.
