§ 74. Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from the Amalgamated Engineering Union on the provision of facilities for the motor-vehicle components industries in the Bathgate area.
§ Mr. RossThe A.E.U. wrote to me in May last year. It was concerned about difficulties in the supply of components for the Scottish section of the motor vehicle industry and urged Government action to increase the proportion of component manufacturers located in Scotland.
