§ Mr. John MackieThis importation is delayed because of difficulty in reaching 95W agreement on an additional test we require to detect the presence of any foot-and-mouth disease virus in apparently healthy animals. Recent experience at the Animal Virus Research Institute at Pirbright has shown that this test may reveal carriers which cannot be detected in any other way.
