§ Mr. Peter Mahonasked the Minister of Health if he is aware of the need of hostel provision for the care of the elderly who become mentally disturbed, and that there is a sparseness of such provision, particularly in Preston; and what action he will take to improve the position.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonI am aware of the need, and of the steps local authorities propose to take to meet it in their ten-year plans. Preston County Borough are planning a special home of 40 beds for this purpose.
