§ Mr. MacDermotAny Civil Servant is permitted to undertake additional paid employment outside the Civil Service provided the employment does not require his attendance during normal official hours, there is no conflict with the interests of his department or inconsistency with his position as a public servant, and the outside activity does not impair his usefulness as a public servant.
