§ 82. Mr. Hordernasked the Minister of Transport on what grounds she proposes to increase the speed limit of 30 miles per hour to 40 miles per hour at Southgate Avenue, Crawley, in view of the danger to children attending school.
§ Mr. John MorrisThere is a crossing patrol at the primary school. On the evidence so far available, my right hon. Friend is inclined to think that a limit of 40 m.p.h. would be appropriate for Southgate Avenue, but before she reaches a decision she will consider the objections which have been received.
