§ Mr. PrenticeThe additional cost is about £55,000. This is mainly because the structure proved to be more extentively unsound than a preliminary investigation had suggested. This made it necessary to introduce a good deal of steelwork and as a result to do many additional repairs to the floors, ceilings, walls and roof.
