§ Mr. George ThomasNo survey was made in 1961 or 1964 of the number of unfit houses in Wales. The number of278W unfit houses was estimated in 1962 as about 30,000 and in 1965 as about 38,500. 11,230 unfit houses were closed or demolished from 1961 to 1964 inclusive.
