HC Deb 18 May 1966 vol 728 cc248-9W
Sir W. Teeling

asked the Postmaster-General (1) if he will inquire into the complaints of Mr. R. G. W. Thomas, which have been sent to him, about the inefficiency of Post Office workers in the Brighton area;

(2) what are his explanations of the complaints concerning the postal service in the letter of Mr. G. Hill, 80, Ashford Road, Brighton, which have been sent to him by the hon. Member for Brighton, Pavilion;

(3) why a letter from Mr. S. Norris, dated 28th April and addressed to the hon. Member for Brighton, Pavilion, was already sliced open and damaged on receipt, and an apology was received from the postmaster on the next day; and whether he will make an inquiry into this.

Mr. Joseph Slater

I am looking into the complaints the hon. Member has sent me and will write to him.
