§ Mr. Russell Johnstonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what further proposals he has regarding the fishing industry in respect of the proposed Selective Employment Tax; whether he plans to make variations in respect of the type and nature of fishing; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. RossI have nothing as yet to add to the statement of general arrangements given in the White Paper (Cmnd. 2986). A further statement will be made about the detailed arrangements after consultation with the industry.
