§ Mrs. WhiteThe visit paid to Poland last September by my right hon. Friend the Foreign Secretary is to be followed later this summer by a visit from my noble Friend the Minister of State with special responsibility for disarmament. The Poles recognise our need to increase exports and our sales to Poland have recently begun to improve.
170WOn the cultural front, the Director General of the British Council is at present on an official visit to Poland and no doubt is discussing ways still further to improve our good cultural relations.
