§ 41. Mr. R. W. Elliottasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will examine the recommendations of the Geddes Report with a view to taking the action necessary to assist North-East shipyards to obtain orders which they are at present obliged to turn down.
§ Mr. MasonThe recommendations in the Geddes Report are intended to enable the industry to increase its output and productivity and we are taking all possible action to enable them to be implemented within the timetable proposed by the Committee.
