Mr. Perryasked the Postmaster-General what steps he is taking to improve the Post Office service in North Battersea since the closing of the sub-office at 268 Battersea Park Road S.W.11.
§ Mr. BennVarious efforts have been made to open an alternative sub-post office; but, up to now, it has not been possible to find a candidate with suitable premises. I much regret any inconvenience caused to local residents, and I can assure my hon. Friend that we shall improve the present position just as soon as we can.
