§ Mr. OramThere has been a firm request in the past year, from the Government of Sierra Leone, for assistance in literacy allied to a programme of general adult education. An official of the Ministry of Overseas Development visited Sierra Leone in April for preliminary discussions.
The Government of Zambia have requested the services of an adviser and trainer for their adult literacy programme; the request has been accepted.
