§ Mr. MellishThe Department's officers are meeting the local authorities this week. Further consultations may be necessary, but my right hon. Friend's proposed modifications will be published as soon as possible. I cannot say how long the subsequent statutory procedures will take or when my right hon. Friend's final decision will issue, because this depends on whether there are objections to the proposed modifications and whether another public inquiry will be necessary.
