§ Mr. GunterIt was announced in April that 44 men employed in the 69W masonry work at Stone Firms Limited and 43 employed in the concrete works at Portcrete Limited would become redundant within a few weeks. Twenty-six of the men concerned at Portcrete have already been absorbed in other branches of the firm or in associated firms and it is hoped that the remainder will also find employment without undue delay.
