§ Mr. MacDermotThe December, 1965, issue of the Bank of England Quarterly Bulletin, which is available in the Library, contains such a table relating to the position at the end of 1964. Taking short- and long-term items together, total assets were estimated at about £15,550 million and liabilities at about £13,400 million.
