§ Lord Balniel
asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will make a statement about his announced intention to transfer on 1st April the assets of the Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield Development Corporation, in view of the fact that no Order implementing this decision has been laid before Parliament.

§ Mr. Crossman
In accordance with my decision announced to the House last December (OFFICIAL REPORT, 2nd December, 1965, col. 246, Written Answers to Questions), I made, on 7th February, the Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield Development Corporations (Transfer of Property and Dissolution) Orders, 1966 (S.I. 1966, Nos. 125 and 126).
These are Orders under Section 41 of the New Towns Act, 1965, are not subject to annulment and are not required to be laid.
